Teaching is a love language, and pedagogy is mediated by intersectional experiences and actors experiencing diverse productions.

Pedagogical Perspective

While I fulfill the role of teacher of primary curricula, I also embody the role of an educator who is passionate, moral, dedicated and creative. I can direct, lead, support and facilitate lessons while being brave enough to stand up for justice and equity. I'm willing to let little hands hold mind, and to listen to voices considered big and those deemed small.

 Career Aspirations

As a primary school teacher, my pedagogy is supported by a contextualized understanding of culturally responsive practices. I plan to enroll in a PhD program in the future, where I'll focus on theoretical frameworks that include post-colonialism, and critical theory, and methodology such as discourse analysis, qualitative interviews, and arts-based research dissemination that explore teacher training and student well-being.
